location
Lefkada Island is an understated, yet unforgettable gem of the Ionian Sea. An island molded by mountainous land plunged into the green and white sandy coasts immersed into the turquoise waters.
Getting here
Lefkada is one of the most accessible islands in Greece since it is connected to Aetolia-Acarnania (and the rest of mainland Greece) through a waterborne bridge.
Besides driving your own vehicle, you may also use public transport by hopping on a bus (KTEL) that offers many different routes, daily from and to Athens, Thessaloniki, Igoumenitsa and Aktio. Moreover, one may fly to Aktio, since the airport of Aktio welcomes many internal flights as well as flights from abroad, several times a week. Finally, among the Ionian Islands, Lefkada has many boat routes daily to and from Meganisi, Kefalonia and Ithaka.
The capital of Lefkada is on the end side of the waterborne bridge. After crossing the central street (Ogdois Merarhias), follow the street that leads to the village Aghios Nikitas and then follow the signs that lead to the picturesque village Exanthia and to Anadeo Villas and Suites.
Exanthia is a village that is located in the northwest part of the island of Lefkada, at an altitude of 630m (2066 feet)
Its location, the fresh air and the views of the Ionian Sea offer our guests the ideal destination for a vacation full of relaxation and rest. Lefkada’s most famous beach with the light blue colors of the water, Kathisma, as well as Aghios Nikitas, the well-known picturesque village with the traditional Greek taverns, are both situated within a 10 minute distance from Anadeo Villas & Suites.
Moreover, in 10 minutes you can visit Karya, one of the biggest villages of the island and enjoy the beautiful and full of sycamores village. Explore the local shops with the elaborate needleworks. At a 20 minutes distance you can visit the Egremni and Porto Katsiki beaches, whose exotic and scenic feel seems like the backdrop of a fairytale.
